Choose us as your Charity of the Year
If you have a Charity of the Year programme please don’t forget to nominate Orpheus or let us know when an application process opens.
Our team will provide guidance and support throughout the whole partnership.
We will work closely with you to plan an inclusive calendar of fundraising, events and communications to bring our partnership to life. We will also be on hand to support all your activities and give inspirational ideas to help you reach your fundraising targets and CSR objectives.
Events and Challenges
Get a group of your staff together to take part in one of our challenge or fundraising events. We have received some wonderful support from corporate charity teams climbing Snowdon or doing the Three Peaks.
Gifts in Kind
Are you able to offer skills training, or maybe you can help print our prospectus for free? We are incredibly grateful for any offers of gifts in kind.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a great way of providing charities, like Orpheus, with a regular income stream and gives employees a tax break on their donation. Donations through an employee’s salary are taken before tax is deducted.
Raffle Prizes
Do you have any items or services that we can raffle to raise funds? A day in a sports car, a signed item of memorabilia or and iPad. All of these can help us raise valuable funds for our work with young disabled adults.
Sponsorship
Sponsor one of our events to help us make it as successful as possible. In return, we can feature your products or services in our literature and on our social media.
Cause-Related Marketing
CRM promotions are a great way to raise funds, associate your product with a fantastic cause such as Orpheus and increase sales.
Advertising
Buying advertising space in our newsletter or programmes is a great way of supporting Orpheus whilst knowing your advertising budget is going to a good cause.
Give as you Live
Give as you Live is a simple and free way to raise money for Orpheus just by shopping online. When you shop at over 4,000 leading retailers including Amazon, EBay, Tesco and John Lewis through Give as you Live you will raise free funds for Orpheus.
Promoting Give as you Live to your staff is a fantastic way to raise valuable funds for Orpheus. You could run competitions and set targets for your staff to reach.

Our volunteer days are very popular amongst our corporate supporters. They help us in all manner of ways from painting our canteen to pulling up weeds in our garden even building a lovely willow igloo structure by our lake.
Our volunteers also relish the opportunity to interact with our students and getting to know more about the work we do at Orpheus. They often attend student led workshops or performances which are always a treat and leave everyone with smiles on their faces.
“Seeing the ease of the students in their surroundings, how much they enjoy themselves there and how enthusiastic they are – just fabulous. The little performance they gave us was so inspiring and very touching, I could have just listened to them the whole day. Seeing the garden transform was of course a bonus too!” – Pfizer volunteer
We have also had groups of volunteers come and work directly with our students. For example, we were very grateful to Goldman Sachs who brought a team to Orpheus to teach our students interview skills and to help with project planning during our enterprise week.
